
ABOUT JURASSIC JUDO
At Jurassic judo we not only teach the martial art/sport and principles, we also teach self-confidence, teamwork, open-mindedness, acceptance and character building. All our seniors have a wealth of knowledge spanning as far back as the 1970s. We strive to create a strong and healthy club atmosphere which welcomes all alike.
So if you would like to train judo at Jurassic, then the first session is absolutely free.

Adults: Wed 19:30-21:00 and Sun 11:00-12:30.

Kids:Wed 18:30-19:30 and Sun 10:00-11:00.

MEET THE TEAM

Sensei Ray Barnes has studied Judo for over 4 decades and is a senior figure in Dorsets Judo family. Starting as a young man building his love for Judo to becoming the foundering member and head coach at Jurassic judo, he is a wealth of knowledge and an inspiring coach.

Sensei Steve Medway is a wealth of Judo knowledge through acquired through competition and practical judo application. He is a longstanding pilar in the Judo community and a very technical coach. Steve is a Founding member and head coach at Jurassic Judo.

Greg Has been a student of Judo for over 20 years and holds black belts in other martial arts. He is a dedicated senior instructor at Jurassic Judo with a passion for teaching and learning.

Steve Has been a student of Judo for around 2 decades and holds black belt in Judo and Karate. He is a dedicated senior instructor at Jurassic Judo and started his Judo path with his son Greg.

Coming from the Judo scene in Poland, Wojciech was part of the Polish international Youth squad. He is a very technical player with a wealth of Judo Knowledge and insight.
